Pilates – Pilates workouts focus on developing strength through the core of the body, including the back, abdomen, and hips. The concentration is not only on strength, but also on flexibility and coordination. The goal of Pilates is to improve overall fitness, elongate supple muscles, and create balance between mind and body. A Pilates class typically consists of a warm up, a 45-minute core workout, and relaxation at the end. Intensity: Moderate to high. Tempo: Moderate.
