In Spring 2016 I signed up for personal training to help recover from a broken talus bone on President’s Day in February. Bobby, my personal trainer at American Family Fitness Fredericksburg worked with me to help restore my strength in my right ankle, turn up muscles, and lose weight. I lost almost 10 lbs adopting the pescatarian way of eating before I gained an unusual amount of weight. In May 2018, I was quickly rushed to the hospital to remove multiple tumors. After having had surgery, the new plan was to focus on recovering stomach functionality and use of my abdomen muscles.  I am now able to do repetitions on the crunch machine without any problems! I’m still at it and excited to hit my 2019 goal of losing at least 4 pounds per month; 20 lbs by May. I look forward to sharing future results.
