Mechanicsville Personal Training Success

Catherine Diesta

Well I have only been a member of American Family since March 2015 but my story starts a long while back to 2010 but I am just going to be brief about it. I had some health issues back in 2010 after I started Weight Watchers.

I weighed in at my heaviest ever at 262. I never thought I would get that big. Anyway after my health issues were dealt with I started exercising and doing WW and I was on and off of that and had lost a good amount of weight but something still didn’t stick with me until this year when I met my trainer Amy Wilson in March of this year and joined American Family.

She has played a huge role in my success by being my trainer, friend and one of my biggest cheerleaders.

I also have low back issues and recently found out that I have moderate ostheoarthritis in my left knee. Well Amy is great about modifying anything for me. She knows how determined I am to lose this weight once and for all and to workout and build up muscle and get stronger.

I feel so much stronger since I started working with her. I do also workout at home too when I am not up at the gym. I love American Family Fitness so much. I even started a Gentle Yoga class as well. Everybody is great up there at the Mechanicsville location. So far since joining Am Fam and working with Amy I have lost 20 lbs and I am not done yet. I have lost some inches as well and will continue to do so. I still have a ways to go to get to my ultimate goal weight but I am determined to get there.
