I have had bad hips since I was a teenager. Now half way though my seventy’s, they became arthritic. I started to use a cane for assistance after having several mishaps. My physician told me to start moving more. I couldn’t walk 10 minutes with out resting. After joining American Family Fitness, I started doing aquatic walking and exercise for an hour Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday is light circuit training for 40 minutes. If I miss a day, for some reason, I feel disappointed. In ten weeks, I have regained self assurance and tossed the cane. I have lost 11 lbs. which is just a bonus to me feeling more fit and energized.
