|Lifeguarding Review for Recertification||An abbreviated Lifeguarding Training course that briefly reviews course information and allows practice of skills and knowledge before testing. Current certification in Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED is required to participate in the review course. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED which is valid for two years.|

Pass the Pre-Course Test: 300-yard swim of good breast stroke and/or freestyle, brick test (retrieving a brick in deep water), and 2-minute tread test.

|Lifeguarding Instructor Review r.17||This in-person Instructor/Instructor Trainer review course is the required course for all Lifeguarding Instructors and Lifeguarding Instructor Trainers to re-certify. During this course, Lifeguarding Instructors and Lifeguarding Instructor Trainers will participate in an in-water practice and polish skills session with their peers and a classroom-based review of Red Cross administrative policies and procedures. Lifeguarding Instructors and Lifeguarding Instructor Trainers may also choose to attend a brief “test out” session following this course to gain a basic-level Lifeguarding certification (good for two years). Participants must hold a current American Red Cross LGI or LGIT Certification and have completed the on-line update.||$85 per Member |

|Lifeguard Training||Learn teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid, and CPR/AED and other skills you need to work as a professional lifeguard. Lifeguard Training Prerequisites:|

|CPR/AED Training||American Family Fitness offers Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid training on a monthly basis to staff, members and the public. This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. Through an instructor-led classroom skill session you will have the opportunity to practice and demonstrate skill competency required for certification. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.|
Once you have completed and submitted your pre-registration form, you will receive a confirmation email from American Family Fitness. Print your confirmation, attach payment and bring to the club to complete your registration.

|Instructor Training (Train the Trainer)||This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course.||$300||Pre Registration|
|Swim Lesson Instructor||This course trains Water Safety Instructor candidates to teach courses and presentations in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program. To enroll, instructor candidates must be at least 16 years of age on or before the last day of course and successfully complete the Stroke Performance Charts, Level 4.|| $250 per Member |
